Abdrahmatov Kanatbek Ermekovich (1953), Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1996)
Kyrgyz. Born in the town of Kaji-Sai, Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from FPI (1976), postgraduate studies at the Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1981).
Worked as a senior engineer at "Kazzapgiprovodkhoz", engineer at the Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, research associate, and since 1988 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of seismotectonics and modern geodynamics.
Published more than 60 scientific works, including 2 monographs.
