Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Ak-Terek, Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from Leningrad State University (Leningrad, 1976), postgraduate studies at the All-Russian Research Institute of Mining Geomechanics and Surveying (Leningrad, 1979), doctoral studies at the Institute of Mining Geology and Geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1992). Worked as a junior researcher at VNIIMI (Leningrad), head of the department, dean of the Pedagogical Institute, head of the department at the Przhevalsky branch of KSU, deputy director of the Karakol branch of the International Institute of Management, and since 1993, a professor at ISU.
Specialist in the field of mechanics of deformable solid bodies and numerical methods in mathematics.
Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan in the field of science and technology (1987). Published more than 50 scientific works, including a monograph and a textbook.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
