Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kurmenty, Tyup District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from KSHI (1965), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1970).
Worked as a senior zootechnician at the Ministry of Agriculture, research fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences, head of the department at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Pastures and Forage, head of the main department at the Ministry of Agriculture, head of the department at KirNIIZh, head of the department and chair at KSHI, and since 1997 - head of the Department of KTU named after I. Razzakov. Specialist in the field of agricultural economics (animal husbandry).
Academician of the International Academy of Higher School (Moscow, 1994). Published more than 110 scientific works, including 8 monographs, 3 textbooks, and educational-methodological manuals.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 10 candidate dissertations have been defended.
