Akbaev Abdi Alimkozhoevich (1928), Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1996), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of Science and Technology (1972)

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Komsomol, Kemin District of the Kyrgyz Republic. Graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute (1948), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Chemistry of the Kyrgyz SSR (1957).

Worked as a deputy principal of a secondary school, junior researcher, senior researcher at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, and since 1994 - senior researcher at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in inorganic chemistry. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1979) and a medal from the USSR (1984).

Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995). Honored Inventor of the Kyrgyz SSR (1969). Published over 190 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 64 inventions.

Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
