Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Jalpaktash, Uzgen District, Osh Region. Graduated from KGMI (1960), postgraduate studies there (1969).
Worked as a surgeon in a district hospital, assistant, associate professor, professor, and since 1991 - head of the department of faculty surgery at KGMI. Specialist in liver and biliary surgery. Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Published over 90 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 9 inventions. Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 9 candidate dissertations were defended.
