Vyhodtsev Ivan Vasilievich (1903-1971), Doctor of Biological Sciences (1953), Professor (1953), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1965).Russian. Born in the village of Borovskoye, Tomsk province, Altai region. Graduated from Tomsk State University (1926). Worked as a geobotanist and soil scientist at the Land Management Department of the People's Commissariat of Land of the Kirghiz ASSR, head of the forage department at KirNIIZh, director of the Botanical Garden of the Kirghiz SSR, director and head of the laboratory at the Biological Institute of the Kirghiz Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Biology of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the fields of geobotany, floristics, and botanical geography. Awarded the Orders of the Badge of Honor, the Red Banner of Labor, medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Kirghiz SSR. Honored Scientist of the Kirghiz SSR (1947). Published over 90 scientific works, including 3 monographs.
