Gareev Enver Zakizyanovich (1910-1974), Doctor of Biological Sciences (1957), Professor (1959), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1964).
Tatar. Born in the village of Churash, Tatar ASSR. Graduated from the Krasnodar Agricultural Institute (1936). Worked as a junior researcher, head of the Republican Botanical Station, and director of the Botanical Garden of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the field of physiology and breeding of fruit plants. Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR. Published over 100 scientific works, including 4 monographs. Under his supervision, 9 candidate dissertations were defended.
