
Grigorenko Petr Gerasimovich (1910-1990), Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1968), Professor (1960), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1965).
Russian. Born in the city of Dzhambul, Kazakh Republic. Graduated from the Geological Faculty of the Central Asian Industrial Institute (1932). Worked as the head of the hydrogeological expedition at the Geological Management of Kyrgyzstan, head of the sector at the Institute of Geology of the Kyrgyz SSR. Specialist in hydrogeology and engineering geology of Central Asia. Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals of the USSR. More than 50 scientific works published.
