Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Almaly, Kant District, Kyrgyz SSR. Graduated from the Moscow State Forest Technical University (1960).
Worked as a shop mechanic at the Combine, mechanical engineer at the Ministry of Construction of the Kyrgyz SSR, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, deputy dean, dean of the evening mechanical faculty, professor at FPI, and vice-rector for HP. Since 1992, he has been a professor at KTU. Specialist in the field of automatic regulators for winding systems of textile machines. Published more than 80 scientific works, including 31 author certificates of the USSR and 3 patents of the KR.
