Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Chyrpykty, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region. Graduated from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute (1951), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1956).
Worked as a lecturer at the Naryn State Teacher's Institute, Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute, senior lecturer, associate professor, dean, head of the department at the Kyrgyz State University of Construction and Architecture, senior researcher at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics, and since 1975 - head of the laboratory at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in the field of mathematics and mechanics. Awarded the USSR Medal (1984), Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic (1991). Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995). Published over 100 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 7 textbooks. Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were defended.
