Kyrgyz. Born in Frunze. Graduated from the FPI (1978), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1984). Worked as an engineer, senior engineer, junior researcher, senior researcher at the Institute of Automation, scientific secretary, deputy director for science, and since 1995 - director of the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, professor at KTU.
Specialist in the theory and design of mechanisms and machines. Published over 60 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 11 inventions, and 3 textbooks. Under his supervision, 1 candidate's dissertation has been defended.
