Graduated from Semipalatinsk Geological Exploration Technical School (1955), All-Union Correspondence Polytechnic Institute (1962), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1968).
Worked as a collector, senior collector, technician-geologist, senior technician-geologist, geologist at the Geological Management of the Kirghiz SSR, laboratory assistant, engineer, junior and senior research associate at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, head of the department of noble metals at the Problem Laboratory of the FPI, and since 1993, head of the department and professor at KG-MI.
Specialist in the field of geology and geochemistry. Awarded the medal of the USSR.
Published more than 110 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 2 textbooks.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
