Russian. Born in Frunze.
Graduated from the FPI (1970), postgraduate studies at the Leningrad Mechanical Institute (1981). Worked as a worker, toolmaker, factory inspector, engineer, design engineer at a factory, VNIIM (All-Union Research Institute of Electromechanics), head of the laboratory, head of the bureau, deputy chief metrologist of the factory, senior lecturer, associate professor at FPI, and since 1992 - professor at KTU.
Specialist in applied computer sciences and mathematical modeling in the field of machine engineering and others. Awarded the USSR medal (1981). Published more than 80 scientific works, including 2 inventions.
