Russian. Born in the Chernihiv region of the Ukrainian SSR.
Graduated from the Kyiv Agricultural Institute (1929). Worked as the head of the physiology department at the Krasnodar Tobacco Institute, director of the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences, head of the laboratory of physiology and biochemistry, simultaneously head of the physiology department at KSU, deputy director of the IBF of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in plant physiology. Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and medals of the USSR.
Published more than 60 scientific works.
