Armenian. Born in Frunze. Graduated from KGMI (1970), and completed postgraduate studies there (1974).
Worked as an assistant, head of department, senior researcher at the Central Research Institute of KGMI, vice-rector, head of the department at KGIFK, vice-rector of MUK, organizer of the medical faculty, vice-rector, currently - dean and head of the department at KRSU.
Specialist in the adaptation of humans and animals to mountain climate conditions and psychophysiological behavioral mechanisms.
Honored Figure of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (1998).
Published over 100 scientific works, including 3 monographs.
