Russian. Born in the city of Shara-Sume, Western China.
Graduated from Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute (1950), postgraduate studies at KSU (1953).
Worked as a mechanic at an aviation plant (Tashkent), senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department, dean of Russian philology, and since 1983 - professor at KSU.
Specialist in the field of the Russian language and comparative linguistics.
Awarded the Order of the Patriotic War and the "Dank" medal.
Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz SSR (1979). Published more than 90 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 1 textbook.
Under his supervision, 8 candidate dissertations have been defended.
