Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Savay, Karasuu District, Osh Region.
Graduated from KGMI (1968), also completed postgraduate studies there (1974), and doctoral studies at the Research Institute of Pharmacology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences and the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the USSR Ministry of Health (Moscow, 1987).
Worked as an assistant, associate professor, deputy dean, professor, vice-rector for research, and since 1997 - head of the department at KGMA, chairman of the pharmacological committee of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in the field of pharmacology. Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (1993).
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Published more than 130 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 3 inventions, and 2 patents.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 12 candidate dissertations have been defended.
