Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Alayku, Kara-Kulzhinsky District, Osh Region.

Graduated from KGMI (1970), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Genetics of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1973).

Worked as an assistant, and from 1973 - head of the laboratory at the Research Institute of Cardiology of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in human genetics. Member of the New York Academy of Sciences (1994).

Published over 60 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 4 inventions.

Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
