Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from KGU (1953), postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1961).
Worked as a senior economist at the State Planning Committee of the Kyrgyz SSR, senior researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, dean of KGU, head of the department at KGNU.
Specialist in the field of economic and social geography.
Awarded medals of the USSR.
Honored Teacher of the Kyrgyz SSR (1985).
Published more than 120 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 3 textbooks.
