Candidate of Philological Sciences (1944), Professor, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Laureate of the K. Tynystanov Prize

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Ken-Suu (Jailma) in the Tyup District of the Issyk-Kul Region.

Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Eastern Languages named after A. Enukidze (1931).

Worked as Deputy Chairman of the village revolutionary committee, editor in the USSR Council of People's Commissars, senior researcher at the Institute of Language and Literature, and professor at KGU.

One of the founders of dictionary creation and a participant in the development of all types of the Kyrgyz alphabet.

Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the "Manas" I degree (1997), and medals. Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

A rural council, a Kyrgyz-Turkish college, and a street in the city of Karakol are named after him.

Published more than 20 books.
