Russian. Born in Frunze. Graduated from FPI (1957).
Worked as the head of a search and survey party, junior and senior research associate, and since 1977 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR. Specialist in general and regional geology, isotopic geochronology.
Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR (1984), Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993).
Published over 100 scientific works, including 7 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
