Jewish. Born in the city of Kommunarsk, Luhansk region of the Ukrainian SSR.

Graduated from KSMI (1948), and completed postgraduate studies there (1951).

Worked as the head of the laboratories of pathophysiology and immunology at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Tuberculosis, Institute of Physiology and Experimental Pathology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1977 - head of the laboratory at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy.

Specialist in the field of immunology and pathological physiology.

Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1986), the USSR Medal (1970). Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (1990).

Published more than 450 scientific works, including 12 monographs, 1 textbook, and 6 inventions.

Under his supervision, 8 doctoral and 42 candidate dissertations have been defended.
