Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Mykan, Alamudun District, Chui Region.
Graduated from the FPI (1972), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Worked as a factory master, senior engineer, head of a group, scientific secretary, head of a laboratory, from 1988 - Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, from 1993 - Professor at KG-MI.
Specialist in the field of rock mechanics and underground development of mineral deposits.
Academician of the IA KR (1999).
Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Published more than 150 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 1 textbook, 5 patents.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 8 candidate dissertations have been defended.
