Russian. Born in the village of Dmitrievka, Talas District, Kyrgyz SSR.
Graduated from Kaplambek Agricultural College (South Kazakhstan Region, 1957), KSU (1964), postgraduate studies at the IBF of the Kyrgyz SSR Academy of Sciences (1967).
Worked as an agronomist in the state farm of the Jambyl region, junior researcher, senior researcher, head of the laboratory of the forest department of the IBF, deputy director, acting director, and since 2000 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of Forestry and Nut Cultivation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of ecological physiology of plants, ecological monitoring of forest ecosystems.
Awarded the USSR medal (1975), Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic (2000).
Published over 100 scientific works, including 3 monographs and 4 manuals.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
