Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kyzyl Oktyabr, Aravan District, Osh Region.
Graduated from the Mechanical Faculty of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI) (1980), and completed postgraduate studies there (1984), and doctoral studies at OshTU (1998).
Worked as a master in the weaving shop of the Osh cotton processing association, junior researcher, assistant, associate professor, head of the department at the Andijan branch of TITLI, associate professor, dean, and vice-rector for research at OshTU.
Specialist in the field of textile materials technology.
Published over 70 scientific works.
