Russian. Born in the Volgograd region. Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Economics (1952).
Worked as a senior lecturer at Perm State University, a researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, director of the Central Planning Committee, and since 1994 - head of the department at the Research Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in the field of macroeconomics and social development.
Published over 100 scientific works, including 7 monographs.
Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
