Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Barskoon, Jeti-Oguz District, Issyk-Kul Region.
Graduated from FPI (1971), and completed postgraduate studies there (1978).
Worked as an assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of department, professor, and since 1995 - head of the department at KGUSTA. Specialist in the field of construction mechanics. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998).
Published more than 110 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 6 textbooks, and 20 educational and methodological aids.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
