Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Alchaluu, Chui region.
Graduated from Kirgosped Institute (1951), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1954). Worked as a senior laboratory assistant, junior and senior research fellow, deputy director, and director of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, and since 1994 - head of the laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry and Technology at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of inorganic chemistry, physicochemical analysis, and technology of inorganic substances.
Awarded medals of the USSR.
Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993). Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998).
Published more than 320 scientific works, including 7 monographs and 19 author certificates.
Under his supervision, 14 candidate dissertations have been defended.
