
Lushchikhin Mikhail Nikolaevich (1905-1978),
Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1961), Professor (1962), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Born in the city of Ruza, Moscow region. Graduated from the Moscow Zootechnical Institute (1930).
Worked as the head of the department, director of the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute. Specialist in the field of breeding agricultural animals.
One of the organizers of agricultural science and education in Kyrgyzstan.
Under his guidance, the fine-wool breed of Kyrgyz sheep was developed.
Corresponding Member of VASKHNIIL (1969).
Awarded the Orders of Lenin, Friendship of Peoples, the Badge of Honor (3), and medals of the USSR. Honored Worker of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1947). Laureate of VASKHNIIL (1972).
Published more than 300 scientific works.
