
Mamatkanov Dyushen Mamatkanovich (1934),

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Darkhan, Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from KSU (1956), postgraduate studies at the Siberian Energy Institute of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1964).
Worked as a teacher, research associate at the Institute of Hydrology, head of the laboratory at Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Energy, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Hydrology, and since 1992 - director of the Institute of Water Problems and Hydropower of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Specialist in engineering hydrology and water resource management. Awarded medals of the USSR, Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994). Distinguished worker in energy and electrification of the USSR. Published more than 130 scientific works, including 7 monographs.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
