Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kainy, Kemin District, Chui Region of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Graduated from KSU (1965), and completed postgraduate studies there (1968).
Worked as a lecturer at KSHI, junior researcher, senior researcher, group leader at the Institute of Mathematics of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, head of the department at KSHI, head of the department, vice-rector of TU "Dastan", and since 2000 - head of the department at KGUSTA.
Specialist in the field of fluid, gas, and plasma mechanics.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (2002).
Published more than 80 scientific works, including 1 monograph.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations have been defended.
