Russian. Born in the city of Balashov, Saratov region.
Graduated from KSHI (1962), postgraduate studies at the IBF of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1967).
Worked as a senior researcher at the IBF of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, and since 1977 - head of the department at KirNIIZh. Specialist in the principles of linear breeding of the Kyrgyz fine-wool breed and crossbreeding of sheep.
Honored Zootechnician of the Kirghiz SSR (1986). More than 80 scientific works published, including 3 monographs.
Under his supervision, 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
