Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Issyk-Ata, Kant District, Chuy Region.
Graduated from KGMI (1962), and completed clinical residency there (1964).
Worked as an assistant, associate professor, professor, head of the Department of Neurological Diseases with a course in neurosurgery, vice-rector for science, and rector of KGMI.
Specialist in the field of neuropathology. Awarded the "Datsk" medal of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honorary Certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Honored Figure of Science of the Kirghiz SSR (1970). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Published more than 210 scientific works, including 6 monographs, 15 textbooks, and teaching aids.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations have been defended.
