Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kum-Aryk, Panfilov District, Chui Region.
Graduated from KSU (1959), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1964).
Worked as a high school teacher, engineer-geobotanist, junior and senior research fellow, head of the laboratory at the BPI of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and since 1993 - professor at KGNU.
Specialist in the fields of biology, ecology, biogeochemistry, and geochemical ecology.
Published more than 120 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 1 textbook.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
