Graduated from KSU (1959), postgraduate studies at Leningrad Financial and Economic Institute (1964).
Worked as a lecturer, dean of KSU, head of the State Planning Department, director of the VTs, director of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, since 2000 - director of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the State Agency for Science and Intellectual Property of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the problems of the efficiency of public production.
Founder of the school of economic-mathematical modeling and indicative planning.
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993), MIA, Academy of Sciences of Ecology, Human and Nature Safety. Awarded medals of the USSR, Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Honored Economist of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995). Published over 150 scientific works, including 17 monographs and brochures.
Under his supervision, about 20 candidate dissertations have been defended.
