Graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (1960), postgraduate studies at Moscow Machine Tool Institute (1966).
Worked as a leading design engineer at a factory, senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department at FPI, and since 1990 - professor at KTU. Specialist in the field of automation in machine engineering and instrument engineering.
Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1996).
Awarded with a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic. Published more than 180 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 18 inventions and patents.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 11 candidate dissertations have been defended.
