Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Taldy-Bulak, Talas District, Talas Region.
Graduated from KGMI (1977), completed clinical residency there (1979) and postgraduate studies (1982).
Worked as a senior laboratory assistant, assistant, associate professor, senior researcher, acting head of the department, and since 1992 - head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at KGMA.
Specialist in obstetrics and perinatology, gynecology, high-altitude medicine. Corresponding member of the Independent Academy of Sciences (Moscow, 1992).
Published more than 120 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 7 textbooks, and 1 invention.
Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations have been defended.
