Graduated from the Faculty of History of KGU (1975), postgraduate studies at MSU (Moscow, 1980).
Worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, professor, head of the department at KGNU, and since 1996 - a referent in the Department of Civil Servants of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of political science, political processes in Central Asian countries.
Published more than 100 scientific works, including 20 monographs and 7 textbooks.
