Graduated from Osh State Pedagogical Institute (Osh, 1977), postgraduate studies at Kyrgyz State University (1986).
Worked as a teacher in secondary school, head of the laboratory at Osh State Pedagogical Institute, junior researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Estonian SSR (Tartu), lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor at Osh State University, associate professor at Kyrgyz National University, head of the department, since 1994 - rector, since 1998 - professor at the "Dastan" Technological University.
Specialist in the field of solid-state physics, optics, solid-state electronics.
Academician of the International Personnel Academy (1998).
Published more than 60 scientific works, including 1 monograph and 3 textbooks.
