Russian. Born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR.

Graduated from KSU (1969), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (1971).

Worked as a junior, senior, leading, and chief research associate at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor at RIUU, head of the Department of Computer Science, Professor, and since 1999 - head of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences.

Specialist in the application of mathematical methods and computing technology. Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR (1975), Laureate of the I. Arabayev Prize (1996).

Published more than 140 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 6 textbooks.

Under his supervision, 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
