Russian. Born in the village of Razdolnoye, Issyk-Kul region.
Graduated from KSHI (1958).
Worked as the secretary of the Komsomol committee at KSHI, agronomist at a sugar beet sovkhoz, lecturer, associate professor, professor, dean of KGNU, and since 1990 - head of the department at KGNU. Specialist in plant physiology. Academician of the International Academy of Higher Education (1997).
Awarded medals from the USSR and the Kyrgyz Republic. Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1993).
Laureate of the J. Balasagyn Prize (2000).
Published over 120 scientific works, including 6 monographs, 1 textbook, and 8 brochures.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 4 candidate dissertations have been defended.
