Rezvoy Dmitry Petrovich (1912-1993),
Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences
Russian. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Graduated from the Leningrad Mining Institute (1935), postgraduate studies at the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute (1943).
Worked in the Tajik-Pamir Expedition, as head of the geological party in the Kyrgyz Geological Administration, head of the department at Lviv University. Specialist in general and regional geology.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR. Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine. Over 200 scientific works published.
Under his supervision, candidate dissertations were defended.
