Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Erkin-Tuu, Osh region.
Graduated from the Faculty of Physics of KGU (1972), postgraduate studies at LGU (1982).
Worked as a junior, senior, leading researcher, and head of the Department of IYAL of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vice-Rector of the MU "Atatürk-Ala-Too". Specialist in the fields of phonetics, phonology, morphology, word formation, language theory, linguistic typology, mathematical, statistical, and computational linguistics.
Laureate of the awards named after Academician B.I. Yunusaliev and I. Arabayev.
Published over 100 scientific works, including 2 monographs and 1 textbook.
Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
