Russian. Born in the village of Baytik, Alamudun district, Chui region.
Graduated from Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute (1957), postgraduate studies at Leningrad State University (1961).
Worked as a lawyer for the regional bar association, people's judge, and researcher at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in the history of Kyrgyzstan in the late 19th - early 20th centuries.
Awarded medals of the USSR.
