Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor (1920), Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1939), Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR (1954), Laureate of the Lenin Prize (1957) and State Prizes (1941)

Russian. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Graduated from the Veterinary Institute in Yuryev (Tartu, 1905).

Worked as a veterinarian in Central Asia, at the Novocherkassk Veterinary Institute, as a professor at the Moscow Veterinary Academy, head of the helminthology department at the Tropical Institute, chairman of the presidium of the Kirghiz Academy of Sciences of the USSR, and vice-president of VASHNIL.

Specialist in the field of helminthology. Academician of VASHNIL (1935).

Honorary academician of Great Britain, France, the USA, Belgium, and others.

Awarded the Orders of Lenin (6), medals of the USSR.

Hero of Socialist Labor (1958).

Under his guidance, doctoral and candidate dissertations have been defended.
