Russian. Born in the village of B.-Churakovka, Ubagan District, Kostanay Region, Kazakh SSR.
Graduated from KGU (1965), and completed postgraduate studies there (1969).
Worked as a laborer at the Frunze Construction Trust, a mechanic at a factory, a lecturer, senior lecturer, head of a group, head of a department at the Research and Production Center of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz SSR, senior lecturer, associate professor at KGU, professor at the Faculty of Physics and Engineering, KGU, and since 1996 - professor at KRSU.
Specialist in the field of fluid mechanics, gas and plasma, thermophysics, and molecular physics.
Published over 70 scientific works, including 4 monographs.
Under his supervision, 1 candidate dissertation has been defended.
