Graduated from the History Department of the Buryat Pedagogical Institute (1950), postgraduate studies at Moscow State University (1956).
Worked as a lecturer at the Buryat Pedagogical Institute, associate professor, professor at KSU, head of the sector, leading researcher at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the field of political history and the history of Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet period.
Awarded the Orders of the Patriotic War and medals of the USSR.
Published more than 60 scientific works, including monographs.
