Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu, Sokuluk District, Chui Region.
Graduated from the Kirgosped Institute (1946).
Worked in education, as Deputy Director of the Institute of Party History of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan, Director of the Institute of the Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Science, Schools and Culture, First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, Director of the Institute of Party History at the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, Rector of KGU, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences, Head of a Sector, Head of a Department, Director of the Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR.
Specialist in the history of Kyrgyzstan in the 20th century.
Awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor (2), medals of the USSR, and Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Published over 100 scientific works, one of the authors of the "History of the Kirghiz SSR" in all four editions.
Under his supervision, more than 30 doctoral and candidate dissertations have been defended.
