Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kainy, Kemin District, Chui Region.
Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Water Management Engineers (1951), postgraduate studies at the Krzhizhanovsky Energy Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1957).
Worked as an engineer at the "Sredazghipvodkhlepok" Institute, research associate at the Water Management Institute, head of the laboratory, director of the Project Design and Technology Institute, senior research associate at the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, since 1989 - head of the laboratory at the KIPR Institute.
Specialist in small hydropower plants and hydroelectric installations, as well as renewable energy sources.
Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals of the USSR, and a certificate of appreciation from the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR.
Published over 80 scientific works, including 3 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 candidate dissertations were defended.
