Worked as a teacher in secondary schools in Kazakhstan, a researcher at the Institute of the Russian Language of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Moscow), and a lecturer at universities in Samarkand, as well as a lecturer, associate professor, and since 1993 - professor at OGPi, then Osh State University.
Specialist in the field of teaching Russian and English languages.
Published more than 70 scientific works, including 2 monographs.
